Speakers

Each summer, Northern Pines invites world-class, Christ-centered speakers and musicians to teach, lead, and challenge the adults in our Family, Bible, and Evening Hour sessions. Each conference features a different combination of both returning Northern Pines favorites as well as new speakers to challenge and inspire conferees.

Greg Speck

Family Hour

Greg Speck grew up in a non-Christian home, becoming a Christian as a senior in high school. He attended Bethel University in 'lovely and tropical' St. Paul, Minnesota, graduating with a degree in Sociology and minors in Social Work and Biblical and Theological Studies. Following graduation, he began working with teenagers and is blessed to continue doing that even today. Greg travels the world speaking to youth and families and is currently on staff with Youth Leadership as their Youth and Family Communicator. He has authored three books and is also on the speaker team with Family Life, speaking at the Weekend to Remember marriage conferences.

Greg and his wife Bonnie have been married over 35 years and have four grown children, all married, five grandchildren, and hopefully more on the way. This will be Greg's second Northern Pines conference.

Casey and Megyan Caston

Family Hour

Casey and Megyan Caston were headed straight for divorce. Coming from parents who, combined, have had 12 marriages and overcoming their own struggles of over $200K in debt, infertility, stubbornness, and parenting a child with special needs, they founded Marriage365, a nonprofit providing practical tools for couples to help them connect. Taking their hard earned lessons and spreading a message of hope to a broken-hearted world through writing, speaking, coaching, and a nationally-recognized pre-marital course.

The Castons live in Southern California with their two kids. Most days you will find them either at the beach, playing card games, or throwing parties in their neighborhood.
