Northern Pines strives to find world-class, God-centered speakers and musicians to teach, lead, and challenge the adults during each week. 2011 is no exception - we are proud to be bringing back well-known Northern Pines favorites as well as introducing you to some new faces. Two-Speaker Format [11 sessions]
Morning Hour Speaker | Marc Maileffer

Mark has a passion to celebrate Christ as he teaches the Bible; he has been the Senior Pastor at Door Creek Church in Madison, WI since the fall of 2006. Prior to that he served 23 years at College Church in a variety of positions. He received a BA in Biblical Studies from Bethel College, and a M. Div., D. Min from Trinity Seminary; he has also authored God in the Storm, Crossway.Marc loves the outdoors, most sports, working with his hands (woodworking or cooking) and spending time with his wife, Lori,  and their five children, Laura, Bridget, Claire, Peter, and Luke.
This is his first Northern Pines conference as a speaker, although he served as a senior high counselor over 20 years ago.

Evening Hour Speaker | Dr. Rob Rienow

Rob and his wife, Amy, were married in 1994 and have 6 children: RW, Lissy, JD, Laynie, Milly, and Ray.  He is the Marriage and Family Pastor at Wheaton Bible Church in Wheaton, Illinois and is the author of the book "God's Grand Vision for the Home." He and his wife Amy have founded a ministry called Visionary Parenting which inspires parents and grandparents to disciple their children, and equips churches to build biblical family ministries. Rob completed an MA in theology at Wheaton College Graduate School, a MDiv from Trinity International Divinity School, and a Doctor of Ministry in Christian Leadership from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. This will be Rob's third Northern Pines conference.

Music/Worship | Peder Eide

Peder Eide has spent much of the last decade serving God and the church as a full-time national singer/songwriter and speaker through his music ministry, Eide Productions. Peder ministers to over 100,000 students a year throughout all of North America at national gatherings, concerts, and churches. His love for young people fuels his ministry with the desire to encourage, challenge, and motivate people to a closer walk with Jesus Christ. Peder has 12 recording projects to his name.
Peder and his wife, Sherri, have three biological children, Taylor, Allison, and Ethan and 2 internationally adopted children, Makenzie and Teshome. This will be Peder's first Northern Pines conference.
